Background: Faze1.net has been providing web based solutions for our customers since 2002. Originally a wed design company, we decided to branch out in to hosting in 2004 under the name Fazeone.net and have since simplified the name to faze1.net. The step in to web hosting was a natural choice, after two years of refering our clients to non affiliated hosting companies, we were horrified by the poor quality and customer service and knew we had to do something. A few of the things we found most upsetting to our customers where heavy fees for going over bandwidth and being stuck in long 1 year contracts. These were things from the beginning we knew we would never do. In addition, the support and reliability we offer has proven to be the key factor in our ability to be a competitive force in the ever growing hosting market.
Our Network: Our datacenter is located at The planet, in Houston Texas and is staffed 24/7/365. There are multiple OC48 SONET fiber rings that provide basic connectivity to eight access carriers. The datacenter is completely redundant, including a 2200 gallon backup diesel generator. There are over 580 smoke detectors throughout the 35,000 square foot facility, with a VESDA contaminate system.
